Due to the frequent traffic and extensive wear of East Pearl Street and the potential safety hazards presented by the deterioration of the road condition, as well as the need for East Pearl Street to be an access road to help promote future economic development, the City of Mount Vernon has chosen this road as a project to be resurfaced and rehabilitated. East Pearl Street is 0.09 miles long and is located Lewis Street and North Minnie Street.
